This week, JUTE Theatre Company and Central Queensland University celebrated a new partnership with the signing of an MoU!
Together, we’re collaborating on the development of Microcredentials for the Theatre Sector, particularly to build the capacity of First Nations artists in the regions. Plus, we’re enhancing professional development for CQUniversity’s staff and students in various theatre-related activities. We’ll also be working together on the development of school certificate courses applicable to the theatre industry.
JUTE is excited to advance our mission of nurturing regional talent interested in a career in theatre, with relevant training and practical placements. Joining forces with CQU is a major step toward realising these ambitions!
With the Olympics just 8 years away, and while most eyes are on the sports talent of the future, JUTE is committed to developing young regional theatre talent for delivery of the Cultural Olympiad. Let’s shine a spotlight on our regional cultural prowess!
