Regional Touring News – January 2024

GRIT
Developed in 2022 after Gympie’s devastating floods, GRIT is an original work co-devised by Perseverance Street Theatre Company (Gympie) team in collaboration with the local community to honour regional voices, new storytelling and connections with people and place.

For its 2024 touring season (22 February to 15 March), directed by Perseverance Street Theatre Company’s CEO Dr Sharon Hogan, GRIT has evolved to include the voices and stories of its regional peers.

This forthcoming tour, presented by JUTE (Cairns), Topology / RASN NQ (Townsville), Midpoint Theatre Company (Rockhampton) and Bridges Health and Community Care (Bundaberg), is a testament to regional theatre companies working together to create seminal works that talk to people and their sense of place.

JUTE is looking forward to presenting GRIT at Bulmba-ja from 7 to 9 March 2024.  For further information and other regional tour dates, click here. To book tickets, click here.
