AusArt Day is a nationwide, sector-wide fundraising initiative designed to mobilise artists and arts organisations to raise funds for their work and creative ambitions on a single, powerful day. 

JUTE Theatre Company is adapting Wanda Gibson’s multi-award-winning Three Dresses into a large-scale theatre work for family audiences led by First Nations Artists. Combining performance, Guugu Yimithirr and English, music, dance, puppetry and video, the production brings Wanda’s joyful coastal holidays, connection to Country and family history to life. Warm and uplifting, it also sensitively explores the impacts of the Stolen Generations and mission life for intergenerational audiences.
